It is not necessary to show step by step of the plastic parts of this armor; Only will be shown from the assembly of the Photoetched to the final painting. The interior I have painted it of the red-òxido primary color; the gun barrel system with ivory color.     In order to give fulfillment to the general order from August 19, 1944, all the Tiger II will receive the paint of a three color scheme.    Only a few Tigers were finished with "Ambush"scheme. In order to simplify the process many of the final production were left the red primer color (Fgst.Nr. 280177).    Later the most of the crews painted the armors in different color schemes.

Bosh cable and handles were made with copper.  Grids ready! Side skirts and mudguards ready.  Will be added after of painting. Tools ready with PE. The tow cables are ready.  Only in one I not use real cable. The turret is ready.  The interior was painted with red-primer.  The rear hatch can be open and closed.  Gun barrel ready!

The compartment painted in red-primer and the gun barrel system with ivory color.  Close-up 1: The front with all tools mounted, but the mudguards and side skirts will be assembling after of painting the tracks. PROCEDURE OF PAINTING

COLOR BASE 

I will use the following Tamiya paints:   XF-2 Flat-White,   XF-52 Flat-Earth,  XF-57 Buff,   XF-60 Dark-Yellow,   XF-58 Olive-Green,   XF-61 Dark,Green  y  XF-64 Red-Brown.  For the mix: Iso. Alcohol

The color will be Sand using a mix of XF-60 Y XF-52 (in same proportion).   b) lights with XF-60  c) 2nd. application of lights with mix of XF-60 and XF-57.  d) final step a mix of XF-2 with XF-57.


   

DETAILING TOOLS, TOW CABLES AND TRACKS

For the cleaning rods - a mix of Vallejo paints: Light-Brown + White + Leather Brown + Dark-Yellow.
For the pincers - Orange-Brown of Vallejo. 
For the tow cables - Mettalic-Gunmetal of Humbrol.
For the  hooks - Black of  Humbrol and dry brush with a mix of Black + Polished Aluminium of Humbrol too.
For the extinguisher - Red of Vallejo
For tracks - Black of Vallejo (first step)

NOTE: I removed one hook of the turret because I will add an impact


WASHES TO THE TRACKS.

I made the weathering in the tracks and below of the chassis because I will add the skirts for the next step: Camuflage!

I used: Coat with Black of Vallejo - washes with Leather Brown of Humbrol and airbrushing with Flat-Earth of Tamiya. The earth was made with marble dust
